Jersey Mike's Subs To Open In West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA – Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, will open in West Chester on August 10, according to a news release Thursday.

Operating Partner Cierra Pollock will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, August 10 to Sunday, August 14 to support West Chester United Soccer Club.

The new restaurant, located at 323 E. Gay Street, is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to West Chester United Soccer Club. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible, the release states.

“Jersey Mike’s has made such a positive impact on my life and I can’t wait to have the chance to impact someone else's life,” Pollock said in a statement. “I look forward to this opportunity to open a Jersey Mike’s in West Chester, becoming a part of the borough of Chester County and working alongside our local charity, West Chester United Soccer Club. Partnering with the local soccer club, the proceeds from the first five days will go towards providing the soccer league with necessary resources.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $18 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 1.5 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes, the business said.

This year, the company’s 6th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $4 million for 180 charities throughout the country, according to the release.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide. In 2016, for the third year in a row, the company was named the #1 fastest growing chain in the Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100, and continues to win best sub awards in virtually every market it enters, the release states.

The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
