Lands' End Opening New Store This Week In Chester County
A new Lands' End is opening up its doors in the local area this week. The company said they are taking needed health and safety measures.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — While the coronavirus crisis has led numerous area businesses to close, some of them permanently, it's not all bad news for the local economy.
A new Lands' End store is opening up this week in Chester County.
The popular retail chain set up shop at Fairfield Place in Exton and will officially open its doos on Thursday, June 11.

The company says they are taking proper health and safety precautions.
“Our top priority is always the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities,” Claudia Mazo, senior vice president of retail for Lands’ End, said in a statement. “We look forward to joining the Exton community to help local families shop for all of their warm weather essentials in a safe way.”

Some precauations include the closing of fitting rooms, water fountains, and restrooms, limiting the number of customers, floor markings to promote social distancing, barriers at the checkout, and temperature checks for employees.
The store is also promoting its online shop, as items can be ordered and picked up at the store.
