Laugh Yourself Silly at WST for Kids with "Junie B. Jones The Musical"

Walnut Street Theatre concludes its 2016-2017 Season for Kids with "Junie B. Jones" LIVE on stage.

The world’s funniest first-grader, Junie B. Jones, is taking center stage at Walnut Street Theatre for Kids, now through June 18th. Based on the wildly popular book series by Barbara Park, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in print, this production weaves together all the hilarious highlights from Junie B.’s adventures through elementary school into one exciting hour-long musical.

We meet Junie B. Jones as a recent graduate—from Kindergarten, that is—and things sure are different for her now. Between new friends, getting glasses and not being allowed to play in the kickball tournament, there’s a lot going on in the life of this young first-grader.

Join Junie B, with her new glasses and Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal, as she and her friends Sheldon, Herbert and Jose find their own way to stardom at the First Grade Kickball Tournament.
