Delco's Legendary Pica's Opens West Chester Location
Long an iconic Delaware County destination, Pica's expansion to West Chester is finally open.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Legendary pizzeria Pica's Restaurant has opened a second location, this time in West Chester.
The Delaware County fixture, located on West Chester Pike in Upper Darby, has now expanded to a second location within the borough.
While news of the new restaurant's opening has been firing up fans for months, the new Pica's will finally open for takeout on Thursday, they said.

Owners expect the restaurant to open for eat-in dining at some point next week.

Pica's traces its roots to 1941, when founder Frank Pica Sr. opened the first restaurant on 62nd and Race Street in Philadelphia. The restaurant was moved to Upper Darby in 1956, where it soon became iconic.
