Local Artists To Be Showcased At West Chester Gallery
The artists "create what is familiar into fine art."
WEST CHESTER, PA — An art gallery in West Chester will host an opening reception next month for two talented local artists.
The work of Marie Wolfington Jones and Steven J. White will be on display at Sunset Hill Jewelers and Fine Arts Gallery on Friday, June 1. The exhibition will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Organizers said the exhibition will offer the public the chance to meet the artists, purchase original paints, and " see...what is familiar into fine art."

Jones, a graduate of Moore College of Art, began working as a sign painter before moving into fine art paintings and portraits. She focuses on floral still life and roadscapes, in addition to other familiar scenes.
White, a self-taught artist, works with oil and transparent watercolor and focuses largely on the outdoors, as a "way to preserve what is disappearing," according to exhibition organizers.
