Man Stabbed During Fight At West Chester Party: Cops

One man is in custody and another hospitalized after the incident at a party in West Chester, police said.

WEST CHESTER, PA — One man is in custody and one hospitalized after a stabbing during a fight at a party in West Chester on Friday.

The incident occurred on Feb. 8 at around 2 a.m. in the Ramsgate Apartments, located at 620 S. Franklin Street.

During the fight, Nicholas Yi, 19, stabbed the victim in the torso, police said.

The victim was taken to Chester County Hospital emergency room for treatment, and later released.

Yi was arrested on Friday at his home and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and possessing instruments of crime.

He was arraigned on Friday. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
