Man Tried To Break Into West Chester Home With Residents Inside: Cops

Police said the man first watched one of the residents enter the home before trying to break in. Do you recognize him?

WEST CHESTER, PA — Police are searching for a man who they said tried to break into a West Chester home while the residents were inside.

The incident occurred back on May 6 at 10:04 p.m. on the 100 block of South High Street.

The suspect, pictured above, first watched a resident enter the house before following them to the door, police said.

He then tried to get inside but was unsuccessful, and he fled the scene, authorities said.

Police were called and searched the area, but were not able to find him.

Authorities believe the man is about 6 feet, 4 inches tall and skinny.
