Murder Charges Filed After Burnt Body Found Outside Philadelphia

Two Brooklyn men are accused of shooting and killing their drinking buddy, then dumping and burning his body in Chester Springs.

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — After a man's body was found shot and burned in Chester County last month, two Brooklyn, New York, men have been charged with murder.

New York City Police said Luis Marroquin-Cerna, 27, and Rodolfo Lopez, 29, were taken into custody on murder charges Tuesday.

Authorities said they shot and killed one of their drinking budies — Rolando Blanco-Duarte, 32 — before dumping and burning his body at 2300 Block of Eagle Farm Road in Chester Springs, according to a report and cops.

The pair is accused of fatally shooting a drinking Blanco-Duarte early June 18 after a boozy night, the New York Daily News first reported.

The three men got into an argument after they left a 41st Street bar near Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery that ended with Blanco-Duarte shot twice about 4 a.m. inside a nearby building, the Daily News report states.

After the shooting, the two remaining men took Blanco-Duarte's body to Chester Springs, police said.

The Chester County District Attorney's Office said Blanco-Duarte's body was found burnt at about 5:30 a.m. June 18.

New York Police learned the body was that of Blanco-Duarte on Sunday.

An investigation led cops to Marroquin-Cena and Lopez, police said.
