Neela Is Top Dog
Neela won the top dog contest and will move on to the regional voting round.
Last month we asked readers to upload photos of their dogs, and we asked them to vote on their favorite. After a close contest, reader Christina Lopez' dog named Neela narrowly edged out Crystal Miller's dog named Lyma.
Neela defeated Lyma in the voting by one vote.
In the caption of her photo, Lopez wrote about Neela:

My 8 month old puppy. Her name is Neela which means blue in India. She loves playing with my 2 nieces (age 2&5) and my two sons (ages 4&11). She is a great and adorable puppy (especially with her gray and blue eyes). Vote for her!!
Neela now moves on to the regional compettition where she will square of against the top dogs from around the area.
