New Coatesville Theatre Company to Hold Open Auditions
Revival Productions opens auditions for Miscast Broadway fundraiser

Coatesville, PA: Revival Productions, a new non-profit theatre company in Coatesville, announced open auditions for an upcoming fundraiser, Miscast Broadway. Miscast Broadway will play with swapping "type", age, gender, etc., with pieces from the traditional Broadway canon for a rousing evening of laughter, fun, and belt-your-face-off moments!
Auditions will be held Thursday, August 23rd, beginning at 6:30pm at the Gordon Early Literacy Center, 351 Kersey St, Coatesville. Those wishing to audition must register ahead of time (Click here to register). Performers are asked to prepare two 32-bar cuts from the Broadway canon; an uptempo and a ballad UNLIKE their normal "type”; men swapping for women's songs, old swapping for young, etc. Performers should be prepared to dance, if asked. If needed, a dance call will take place around 8:15pm. An accompanist will be provided.
Miscast Broadway’s performance date is Saturday, October 13th at 7pm., and everyone is invited to come out for this fun fundraiser. All proceeds from ticket sales and raffles go towards funding Revival’s 2019 performance season and Youth Summer Theatre Camp series.
