NPR's 'From The Top' To Record At Longwood Gardens

The special NPR show at Longwood Gardens will feature some of the best young classical musicians from around the nation.

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A special NPR recording of their popular show, "From the Top," will take place at Longwood Gardens in September.

The event will feature some of the best young classical musicians from around the nation in a 90 minute concert.

It will take place on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Performers include violinist Akili Farrow, 18, of Philadelphia, 15-year-old pianist Angeline Ma from Berwyn, and 17-year-old violinist Fuastina Housner from Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

From outside of the region, 18-year-old guitarist Ria Modak of New York, New York, 17-year-old cellist Jack Boettcher from Naperville, Illinois, and 17-year-old clarinetist Andrew Chang from Rowland Heights, California perform as well.
