Police Called After Trespassers Arrive At Rep. Costello's Home
"Politics may be a rough business at times, but I believe families should always be off limits."

WEST GOSHEN, PA — Authorities were called after U.S. Rep. Ryan Costello (PA-6) reported trespassers on his property on Saturday, he said in a statement.
Costello said that two individuals came onto his property to "take pictures of his home" and that when his wife asked them what they were doing, they began to intimidate her. The trespassers then fled the scene.
West Goshen police arrived shortly thereafter. Costello said that they were able to get footage of the incident and hope that helps lead to an arrest.

In a statement posted on Costello's campaign's Facebook page, blame for the incident appeared to be assigned to one of the individuals planning to run for Costello's 6th district seat in November: Democrat Chrissy Houlahan.
"I hope Chrissy Houlahan will tell her associates to stop these tactics and cease any further harassment of my family," the post read.

The post did not provide any details or reasoning for why Costello suspected the involvement of Houlahan or her associates. Patch has reached out to the Costello campaign for comment.
Houlahan denied involvement.
"I am so sorry to hear what happened to Rep. Costello and his family today. Of course families are out of bounds, and no one, regardless of their political affiliation, should ever be harassed in their own home. However, this incident had nothing to do with me or my campaign and baseless accusations do not help anything or anyone, do nothing to heal our divide and do not advance solutions,” Houlahan said in a statement.
