Power Out For 1,299 Chester County Residents: PECO
Saturday's sleet, rain and wind resulted in more than 7,600 outages in Chester County, PECO reported.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA —A total of 1,299 Chester County PECO customers are without power Sunday morning in the wake of high winds and rainstorms Saturday night, according to PECO.
PECO warns residents not to touch or move downed wires because they can be extremely dangerous.
Overall there were 3,068 PECO customers without power at 8 a.m.in the Delaware Valley region.

The Chester County outages are scattered throughout the entire 759 square-mile county.

- East Pikeland: 33

- West Goshen: 32
PECO TIPS
- .Generators should only be used outside in well-ventilated, dry areas, away from air intake into the home. Never use a generator inside your home or in an attached garage. See “Use Generators Properly” for more information.
- Stay away from fallen or low-hanging wires or anything they touch. Call PECO at 1-800-841-4141 to report wire emergencies. If wires fall on your vehicle, do not touch the wires or the vehicle.
