Several Rescued In Chester County After Being Trapped By Flooding
Flash flooding ripped through parts of Chester County on Sunday night, and several people had to be rescued from a local bar by boat.

Heavy flooding hit Chester County during the storm on Sunday night, swamping the roads and leading to a dramatic water rescue at a nearby bar.
Both Brandywine Creek and the nearby Doe Run rose rapidly, trapping several bar-goers at the Whip Tavern in West Marlborough, located on the 1300 block of N. Chatham Road, according to Chester County Working Fires.
Several individuals, who told 6ABC that they were among the last to leave the bar, were trapped in the parking lot area of the bar as floodwaters rose.

"They came in and said you'll have to get a life raft down - women and children first," David reportedly said.
Video footage from the Springdell area showed a completely flooded field with water moving swiftly.
The water also held significant pieces of debris, including a dumpster and several kegs, which were displaced from the Tavern, videos from the scene show.
No injuries were reported in the incident at the Tavern.
On vacation from the UK, Tom David didn’t expect to go to the The Whip - a Chester County restaurant - and leave in a lifeboat. Heavy rains caused major flooding at Springdell Rd & N. Chatham Rd.
