Thieves Broke Into Two Residences In West Chester

Police are searching for suspects in two burglaries in the borough.

WEST CHESTER, PA —West Chester police are investigating two burglaries in the borough in which thieves broke into residences and stolen items.

Police said they responded to a report of a burglary at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the 600 block of South Walnut Street. A victim reported that thieves stole several purses and electronics from her bedroom.

At 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, police responded to a residence in the 500 block of South Walnut to investigate a burglary.

Police said a victim noticed that his backpack and safe were missing from his bedroom.
