
PennDot workers will continue road surface improvements on Route 202 between Route 3 and Matlack Street.
The $19.3 million project began in May of 2010 and is expected to be completed May, 2012.

Northbound Route 202 will be reduced to one lane between Matlack Street and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) on Monday through Friday (Aug. 8-12) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Southbound will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
In addition, the following ramps will be closed and detoured from 7 p.m. Friday (Aug. 12) to 5 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 14):
• Paoli Pike on-ramp to Route 202 South – The posted detour is Paoli Pike to the Route 202 North ramp, then left on Boot Road and left at the ramp to Route 202 South.
• Route 202 South off-ramp to Paoli Pike – The posted detour is Route 202 to the Westtown Road exit, turn right on Westtown Road and left at the ramp to Route 202 North and follow to Paoli Pike.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on Route 202 during construction or use an alternate route because backups will occur.
