PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Investigators have turned up little thus far in the investigation into the recent Church Street shooting.

Police released the following update on their Facebook page as they continue looking into the incident:

In regards to the questions we have been receiving about the shooting that occurred on Church Street early Sunday morning; The Phoenixville Police are actively investigating this incident however no new leads or witnesses have come forward at this time. Two men were shot in Phoenixville in the early hours of February 13, a Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at about 3:15 a.m. on the 200 block of Church Street.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, where they are expected to make full recoveries, police said.

A motive is unclear, and any further details on the situation surrounding the incident remain murky.

“It is to early at this point to speculate on a motive with any certainty, so we will reserve that comment until we have time to conduct a more thorough investigation,” police said in the wake of the shooting.
