"That's the best country singing that I've heard, I don't care what any of those guys said," Levine told Jackie after a performance earlier in the month.
Verna, 23, grew up in Sicklerville, New Jersey and grew up wanting to be a college cheerleader. However, a car accident in 2012 - she was hit by a car that ran a red light - left her with serious injuries and doubts about her future.

Verna wound up heading to Penn State. As she recovered she began playing the keyboard her aunt has given to her as a gift, and she quickly took to country music. While at Penn State, she began performing at local open mics. An application to "The Voice" followed shortly thereafter.
The popular show includes Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, and Blake Shelton as "coaches" of the aspiring artists. It airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
Winners of the show receive $100,000 and a record deal.
