Boats Rescue Patrons Trapped By Rising Water In Chester County
Breaking: A water rescue is underway in Chester County as several people were trapped by rapidly rising floodwaters during the storm.

Update: Several people were rescued in Chester County Sunday night after being trapped by rapidly rising floodwaters.
The incident occurred near the Whip Tavern in West Marlborough Township on the 1300 block of N. Chatham Road, as severe flooding swept through the area.
According to Chester County Working Fires, the rising waters confined multiple people to the parking lot of the Tavern.

Water rescue crews quickly arrived at the scene to bring the individuals to safety.
The Tavern is near a body of water, Doe Run, which swelled with heavy rains.

Video footage from the Springdell area showed a completely flooded field with water moving swiftly.
Drivers are reminded to never attempt to drive through a flooded area and if in doubt, to always turn around.
