“Frederick Douglass’ commitment to education as a path to liberation continues to inspire our work at West Chester University,” said Dr. Tiffany E. Jones, President of The Society and a WCU associate professor. “Gathering our WCU community to honor his legacy through art, dialogue, and service reminds us of our shared responsibility to advance social justice and inclusive excellence.”
The drop-in event will feature art, writing, and discussion stations, along with an exhibit highlighting Frederick Douglass’ historical connection to WCU. Attendees can enjoy food, activities, and giveaways throughout the afternoon.
