Wegmans Expanding Grocery Delivery To Downingtown Store
Several area Wegmans, including the Downingtown store, will now offer same-day grocery delivery, the company announced.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Several area Wegmans, including the Downingtown store, will now offer same-day grocery delivery, the company announced Tuesday.
The service will be offered at participating stores throughout the region, including Montgomeryville, Collegeville, Warrington, and King of Prussia in Montgomery County.
Wegmans locations in Malvern and Downingtown in Chester County, and Concordville in Delaware County, will also offer the service.

Customers will be able to complete grocery shopping online, and have orders at their door in under an hour, company representatives said.
“We know our customers are busy, and that any found time in their week can make a difference. That’s where we can help – by giving them the option to have Wegmans delivered fresh to their door,” said Heather Pawlowski, vice president of e-commerce for Wegmans, in a statement. “By partnering with an industry leader like Instacart, we’re able to provide our customers with a seamless shopping experience with the quality and service they’ve come to expect from Wegmans, without leaving their house.”

To order, residents visit instacart.wegmans.com, fill out their virtual orders, pay, and await delivery.
Customers are charged a $5.99 Instacart fee for deliveries of $35 or more. Memberships of various levels are available as well.
