West Chester Cafe Offering Free Breakfast Cheesesteaks With CBD
In celebration of National Cheesesteak Day, a local eatery is offering what it calls the "ultimate hangover antidote."
WEST CHESTER, PA — A West Chester eatery has put together what it calls the "perfect hangover antidote," and it's offering it for free during a special promotion.
West Chester's Roots Cafe will provide free breakfast cheesesteaks with CBD oil in celebration of National Cheesesteak Day.
The first 50 customers on Sunday, March 24, beginning at 8 a.m., can take advantage of the deal.

"There are several stellar breakfast spots and diners in and around the borough of West Chester, but not many places to get an authentic or otherwise notable cheesesteak,” co-owner Dan Merola said in a statement. "We realized that this was the perfect opportunity to blow area cheesesteak lovers’ minds with our delicious new creation."

Some swear by the so-called medicinal benefits of CBD, which include easing anxiety, relieving seizures associated with epilepsy, helping with insomnia, and easing other ailments.
The restaurant has previously offered five-course meals featuring CBD. Once the special is over, customers can order the breakfast cheesesteak with CBD as an add-on, just like other toppings such as sunny-side up eggs.
Roots is located on 133 E. Gay Street in West Chester.
