West Chester Cop, Former Cowboy, Wrangles Escaped Horse
A policeman ponied up when a mini-horse escaped from a local farm and began to run loose in the area.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A policeman ponied up when a mini-horse escaped from a West Chester farm and began to run loose in the area.
The incident occurred on Friday, July 19 at a farm along Skelp Level Road.
The mini-horse, named Lucky, manged to get out of his fenced-in area and was running loose.

According to Lucky's family, the 26-year-old mini-horse sauntered across a creek, crossed a patch of woods, and wound up in a cul-de-sac.
Eventually, Patrolman McGeehan with the West Chester Police Department, a former cowboy from Texas, caught up to Lucky and was able to wrangle him in.

While Lucky's unbridled enthusiasm is surely part of his charm, all parties involved were happy that he was returned home safely.
