West Chester's Halloween parade is just a week away.

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester's Halloween parade is just a week away. Here's what you need to know about the borough's anual event.
It will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
West Chester University, along with West Chester East, Rustin, and Henderson high schools will have their marching bands performing in the parade.

Cheerleaders from Bishop Shanahan, East, Henderson, and Rustin will also perform.
Dance teams from East, Henderson, and Rustin will be on hand as well.

The parade will begin on Market Street between Church and Darlington streets.
No candy will be handed out during the parade; there will be candy stations located within the parade.
A rain date has been set for Thursday, Oct. 26.
Street closures
These streets will be shut down from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 25:
- Gay St. from Matlack St. to Darlington St.
- Market St. from Matlack St. to New St.
- Darlington St. from Gay St. to Market St.
- Church St. from Gay St. to Market St.
- High St. from Chestnut St. to Market St.
- Walnut St. from Prescott Alley to Market St.
- Matlack St. Street from Market St. to Gay St.
