West Chester Health Inspections: 40 Violators Over Past 6 Weeks

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Health Department inspected 74 West Chester area establishments since the beginning of August.

Of those establishments, 40 had violations of some kind. Nova's Pizza and Pasta led the way with 17 total violations, including: unposted food manager certificate, no signage to remind employees to wash hands, raw wood shelves under front counter which need to be painted, fryers not cleaned, hole in the floor by the sink open to the basement, employee's open beverage in freezer, undated foods prepared on site, handwashing sink slow to drain, no consumer warning provided on ground meat, and more.
