West Chester Health Inspections: Bamboo, Kildare's, Landmark

WEST CHESTER, PA -- How sanitary are local food establishments?

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several local area locations over the past few weeks.

Bamboo Restaurant at Westtown on West Chester Pike led the way with thirteen violations. Some of their offenses included not storing wiping cloths in a sanitary manner, improperly dating foods, storing food on the floor, operating the refrigerator at too high a temperature, and more.

• The Pod Express, inspected August 30, two violations
• Rapidough Pizza Pies, inspected August 30, four violations
• Righteous Tap House, inspected August 29, two violations
• Piatto Pizza, inspected August 29, five violations
• Bon Bon Sushi, inspected August 26, two violations
• Grocery and Deli Crystal Inc, inspected August 26, two violations
• Jaco Juice and Taco, inspected August 26, four violations
• Kildare's Irish Pub, inspected August 26, two violations
• Landmark Americana, inspected August 26, one violation
• Tommy's Original Pizza Italian Eatery, inspected August 24, seven violations
• Laguna Miramare, inspected August 23, eight violations
• Avalon Restaurant, inspected August 19, nine violations
• Radley Run, inspected August 18, one violation
• Rite Aid, inspected August 18, one violation
• Romano's Pizza, inspected August 18, one violation
• Bamboo Restaurant at Westtown, inspected August 16, 13 violations
• Roots Cafe, inspected August 16, three violations
• Hissho Sushi at Giant, inspected August 12, one violation
• Lenape Pizza, inspected August 10, one violation
• Sail Away Cafe at Scott Honda, inspected August 4, one violation
