West Chester To Host Color 5K To Battle Overdose Epidemic

The Chester County Color 5k aims to raise awareness of the opioid and heroin epidemic sweeping across the county and state.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- The Chester County Color 5k will be held in West Chester on Saturday, November 5 in Everhart Park.

The event aims to raise awareness of the opioid and heroin epidemic sweeping across the county and state.

Funds raised during the event will go to hospitals throughout Chester County to help them study and coordinate a “warm hand-off program.” This program helps those who have been saved from an overdose into long-term treatment and counseling.
