West Chester June Health Inspections: Giant, Wawa, Pita Pit, Avalon, And More

WEST CHESTER, PA — The June reports are in: the Chester County Department of Health has inspected 43 restaurants and eateries around West Chester. That includes the time period of June 1 through June 30.

Of those 43 establishments, 19 had violations of some kind. Giant led the way with 10 violations, including insufficient barriers between chicken and beef, incorrect storage temperature for salad dressing, insufficient ingredient listings, and more.

• Brandy's Lagoon, inspected June 22, eight violations
• Wawa -West Goshen, inspected June 23, three violations
• Pita Pit, inspected June 23, three violations
• Giant Food Store, inspected June 23, 10 violations
• Atria Willistown, inspected June 23, eight violations
• Yori's Church Street Bakery, inspected June 27, two violations
• Hickory House Catering, inspected June 27, four violations
• Culinart Compass @ Voya, inspected June 28, five violations
