West Chester Man Charged With Strangulation In Domestic Incident
A West Chester man was arrested recently following what police called a domestic incident in the borough.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A West Chester man was arrested recently following a domestic incident in the borough.
The incident took place on Dec. 28 at 8:50 a.m. on the 600 block of Downingtown Pike.
Police arrived on the scene and after a brief investigation, arrested Mark Cathey, 35, for numerous charges.

Cathey was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, recklessly endangering another person, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and simple assault.
He was taken to Chester County Prison where he was arraigned. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
