A West Chester man has been charged with DUI after fleeing the scene of a crash on Christmas morning in the borough, police said.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- A West Chester man has been charged with DUI after fleeing the scene of a crash on Christmas morning in the borough, police said.

The incident occurred at 12:31 a.m. on the 300 block of South Matlack Street.

Leobardo Nolasco Navarrete, 43, was driving a red SUV when he crashed into a parked car, police said.

Navarrete was seen driving the SUV, with damage to its front, nearby shortly thereafter, according to authorities.

Police stopped Navarette and failed field sobriety tests, police said.
