West Chester Man Steals Tip Jar From Food Truck, Run Down By Employee: Cops
An employee ran down a would-be thief after he stole the tip jar from a West Chester food truck, police said.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- An employee ran down a would-be thief after he stole the tip jar from a West Chester food truck, police said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 18 just before noon on the 700 block of South Church Street.
The suspect, Andrew McIntyre, aged 24, allegedly grabbed the tip jar from the counter of the Lunch Box Food Truck and then fled the scene, police said.

An employee of the food truck dashed after him through the streets of the borough, catching up to him, tackling him, and holding him until officers were able to take him into custody, police said.
McIntyre has been charged with robbery and theft by unlawful taking.
