West Chester Schools Dismiss Early Tuesday

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester School District will dismiss early on Tuesday, officials announced.

The schedule is as follows:

• High Schools and Fugett Middle School – 1:10 p.m.
• Peirce and Stetson Middle School – 1:50 p.m.
• East Bradford, East Goshen, Exton, Glen Acres – 2:10 p.m.
• Fern Hill, Hillsdale, Mary C. Howse, Penn Wood, Starkweather, Westtown-Thornbury – 2:30 p.m

The district said that all afternoon and evening activities have been cancelled.

No announcement has yet been made for Wednesday.

A "two-phase" winter storm is hitting the region that is expected to bring snow and freezing rain on Tuesday and up to a foot of snow in Chester County on Wednesday. The Philadelphia area could receive as much as 18 inches. See more here.
