West Chester University Athletic Director Retires
West Chester University Athletic Director Dr. Edward Matejkovic has announced his retirement.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- West Chester University Athletic Director Dr. Edward Matejkovic has announced his retirement.
Matejkovic has held the AD position longer than anyone else in the history of the university.
Under his 22-year tutelage, the Golden Rams have earned the Eugene F. Dixon Trophy, the award indicating the PSAC's most successful program, three times. The school has also seen five national championships, 23 regional championships, and 60 PSAC championships.

"This has truly been one of the most difficult decisions of my life," Matejkovic told West Chester's official website. "I have spent a large part of my life here, both as a student and an employee, and I love this place. It has come to define who I am. It is, in my view, the best job in America."
Matejkovic earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from West Chester before getting a PhD from Temple University.
