WST For Kids’ Celebrates Weekends in February with “Garfield, The Musical With Cattitude”
Garfield is throwing his birthday party on stage at Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia.
If you ask Garfield, all the world’s a stage… and that stage had better be equipped with a soft bed and a whole lot of lasagna.
Mark your calendars for family fun as the world’s beloved tabby cat turns the Walnut Street Theatre’s stage into his very own living room in Garfield, The Musical With Cattitude, February 3rd through 18th.
For his birthday, Garfield has got it all planned out — he dreams of a party with all his friends, not to mention triple-layer, gourmet chocolate cake and an extra helping of lasagna. There’s one little problem: Arlene, Odie, Jon and even his arch nemesis, Nermal, seem to have forgotten. Who has a birthday on a Monday, anyway? Feeling let down, Garfield runs away in search of something better. He gets his biggest birthday surprise when he learns that the best things in life were at home all along.
