The Wilkes-Barre Health Department will hold a CarFit clinic for Senior Drivers on Tuesday, August 24th from 9:30am to 12:00 PM at The Kirby Health Center, 71 North Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

CarFit is a FREE, interactive and educational program that teaches participants how to make their personal vehicle “fit” them to increase safety and mobility when they hit the road. The CarFit program also provides information and materials on community-specific resources that could enhance their safety as drivers, and/or increase their mobility in the community.
CarFit is an educational program developed by AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association. For more information, visit www.car-fit.org.

At the CarFit event, a team of trained technicians and/or health professionals work with each participant to ensure they "fit" their vehicle properly for maximum comfort and safety. A CarFit check takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
