2 Vehicle Thefts, 15 Burglaries From Vehicles In Lower Makefield Twp.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Makefield Police Department is dealing with a rash of vehicle break-ins and two vehicle thefts in the past week.

The police department released its police blotter on Friday, which included reports of 15 thefts from vehicles.

The recent criminal incidents are:

Theft From Vehicle —1600 block of Polo Run Dr., reported at 8:46a.m., Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a license plate and $5.

Theft From Vehicle —1600 block of Polo Run Dr., reported at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet. Their debit card was later used in the amount of $33.33.

Attempted Theft From Vehicle —1100 block of Polo Run Dr., reported at 11:22 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing is reported missing at this time.

Identity Theft —11000 block of Cornerstone Dr., reported at 1 p.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name in the fraud crime.

Fraud —Unit block of Orchard Way, reported at 3:01 p.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported their computer being hacked and having their banking information stolen. They discovered $700 worth of unauthorized charges on their account.

Theft From Vehicle —1700 block of Quail Ct., reported at 4:45 p.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight on Jan. 2, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a backpack and a wallet. It was discovered that a credit card was used in the amount of $70. Credit cards were later recovered at an apartment complex.

Theft —1000 block of Evergreen Rd. reported at 1:36 p.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported the theft of two Amazon packages from the porch.

Theft From Vehicle — 500 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 5:39 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $550 worth of items.

Theft From Vehicle —500 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet. Their credit card was later used in Trenton, NJ.

Theft From Vehicle—600 block of Palmer Ln. reported at 9 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $150 worth of items.

Theft From Vehicle —600 block of Palmer Ln., reported at 9:36 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $3,000 worth of items.

Theft From Vehicle —600 block of S. Dove Rd. reported at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed 15-25 Xanax pills.

Theft From Vehicle —500 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 8:49 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet. Their credit card was later used in Trenton, NJ.

Theft from Vehicle —600 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 11:45 a.m., Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $210 worth of items.

Theft from Vehicle —1700 block of N. Dove Rd., reported at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed the vehicle’s key.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle —1700 block of Finch Ct., reported at 8:02 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing is reported missing at this time.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle —500 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 9:13 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing is reported missing at this time.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle —1700 block of Finch Ct. reported at 8:17 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing is reported missing at this time.

Motor Vehicle Theft —600 block of Wren Song Rd., reported at 7:24 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported the theft of their 2023 BMW X4 sometime overnight. The keys to the vehicle were in another unlocked vehicle at the location. Removed from a third vehicle at the location was $190 worth of items. The victim was able to use the BMW.

Motor Vehicle Theft —500 block of S. Dove Rd., reported at 8:38 a.m. Jan. 6. The complainant reported the theft of their company’s 2017 Dodge Journey overnight. The vehicle was later recovered in Newtown. The investigation is ongoing.
