Acting Assistant Principal Named At Pennsbury High

The opening was created when Cherrissa Gibson, an assistant principal at PHS, was named acting principal at PHS West​.

YARDLEY, PA — Corinne Lyczkowski, formerly an administrative intern at Pennsbury High School East, has been named acting assistant principal at Pennsbury High.

On Thursday, the Pennsbury School District's board of directords appointed Lyczkowski to serve in the role for the second semester of the current academic year. The opening was created when Cherrissa Gibson, an assistant principal at PHS, was named acting principal at PHS West.

As acting assistant principal, Lyczkowski's duties will include staff evaluation, supervision and development, evaluation and administration of instructional and educational programs, budget implementation and management, helping with the master schedule, office management, organization of student activities, student discipline and attendance.

Since September, Lyczkowski has been serving as an administrative intern at PHS East. Before that, she was appointed to a similar post at Charles Boehm Middle School. She has worked as a secondary English teacher and building chairperson at Charles Boehm.

Lyczkowski joined Pennsbury in 2014, after teaching middle school English for two years in Boca Raton, Fla. She earned a master's degree in educational leadership and a K-12 principal's certificate at Gwynedd Mercy University and holds a bachelor of science degree in secondary English education from Millersville University.
