Highland Drive Drainage Improvement Project Completed

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Highland Drive Drainage Improvement project has been completed.

And township officials have the before and after pictures to prove it.

The existing culvert along Highland Drive was successfully replaced due to its age and poor condition, officials said.

Officials said the project rehabilitated and expanded the scope of the existing stormwater system.

Those upgrades provide additional controlled flow capacity during high-intensity storm events.

Township officials said additional infrastructure projects similar to this will be made possible through the enacted Stormwater Utility Fee, a restricted and dedicated revenue source intended for addressing critical infrastructure needs in our community.
