YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — Another popular borough restaurant is closing in less than a month.
Following the closing of Burritos Yardley earlier this month, La La Lobster has announced its closure at the end of June, its owner told Patch.
“This little lobster shack became so much more than a restaurant to us,” Owner Nicole Rabena said. “We are incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and support we’ve received from the Yardley community over the past six years. While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re excited for what’s ahead and thankful to everyone who helped make La La Lobster Yardley so special.”
La La Lobster will officially close at 35 South Main Street on June 28, Rabena said.
Meanwhile, Burritos Yardley closed after over a decade in business.
While La La Lobster is closing, Rabena said the business will transition ownership to a new tenant who will introduce a new restaurant concept in the space.
La La Lobster became known for its coastal-inspired menu, casual atmosphere, and strong ties to the local community.
Since its opening, the restaurant has welcomed thousands of guests from across Bucks County and beyond. Winning many awards for its culinary excellence and fun concept.
La La Lobster also expressed appreciation for its staff, many of whom helped shape the restaurant’s identity and customer experience over the years.
“We are grateful for the time and effort everyone has given to our little lobster shack,” Rabena added. “It is time for us to move on to other ventures, and we wish everyone well in their own journeys ahead.”
She said gift cards will be honored until June 28.
La La Lobster will continue to serve patrons at its location at 732 Beach Avenue in Cape May, N.J.
