LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The AOY Art Center is holding a special fundraiser on Saturday night to help preserve Patterson Farm.

The community is invited to the “Monet Mingle” fundraiser, an elegant outdoor event to support saving the historic barn.

The “Monet Mingle Saves the Barn,” cocktail party takes place from 5-8 p.m. on the historic grounds of Patterson Farm.

Held during the final weekend of AOY’s Plein Air Open Exhibition, the event is inspired by the spirit of Claude Monet and the Impressionists, blending live art, music, cocktails, and community in support of saving the historic Patterson Barn and advancing AOY’s long-term vision for “The Farmstead,” a future arts campus serving Lower Bucks County.

Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, light bites prepared by Chef Joe Garvey, and live music in a garden-style setting overlooking the Patterson Farmstead.

Throughout the evening, acclaimed regional artists Joseph Gyurscak, Jessica Barnum, and Christopher Monteiro will create original plein air paintings live on site. At sunset, the completed works will be revealed and auctioned during a special live finale.

Proceeds from Monet Mingle will help support urgent preservation efforts for the historic Patterson Barn, whose deteriorating foundations require immediate attention.

AOY Art Center envisions the restored barn as part of a larger arts village known as The Farmstead — a destination for exhibitions, arts education, performances, community gathering, and creative experiences for all ages.

“Monet Mingle is more than a beautiful evening,” AOY Executive Director Bette Sovinee said. “It is an opportunity for the community to help preserve an important historic structure while investing in a vibrant future for the arts in Lower Bucks County. We want people to come, celebrate, and imagine what is possible together.”

With limited capacity, Monet Mingle is designed to be an intimate and memorable experience for art lovers, collectors, and supporters of the arts.

Tickets are available online and advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
