LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
These are the criminal incidents:
June 25
FRAUD — 1500 block of Willow Pond Drive, reported at 9:30 a.m. The complainant reported a discrepancy in the financial records related to purchasing their home and believes it may be the result of a fraudulent act.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD — 800 block of River Road, reported at 3:29 p.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) intercepted a credit card through the mail and charged $486.49.
STALKING ARREST — 900 block of Antique Alley at LaGrange reported at 4:15 p.m. The complainant reported having an open harassment case against a known neighbor and there is to be no contact. While dining, the 46-year-old female neighbor from Lower Makefield Township, entered the restaurant, walked up to the victim and questioned the criminal charges against her. A warrant was issued for the woman. On June 26, police responded to the home on the 1700 block of Janney Ln. to perform a warrant service. The woman was taken into police custody. She was arraigned by Judge Kronnagel and sent to BCCF in lieu of $10,000/10% bail.
FRAUD — 800 block of River Road, reported at 7:28 p.m. The complainant reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be from the Bank of America and needing $20,000 to resolve a hold on their account. The victim provided $20,000 to an unknown man in a white Toyota Camry in Ewing, N.J.
June 24
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT — 200 block of Hyacinth Drive, reported at 6:37 a.m. The complainant reported that sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) stole a 2024 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van from their driveway. A 9mm Glock handgun was also in the vehicle and stolen.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Route 332 and Interstate 295 reported at 11:23 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. The 24-year-old male driver from Allentown was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
THEFT — 2000 block of Quarry Road, reported at 12:15 p.m. The complainant reported known person stole their key fob and was tracking to their residence. Keys were retrieved by police and prosecution was denied.
DUI ARREST — Big Oak Road and Pine Grove Road, reported at 8:49 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A further investigation led to the arrest of the 29-year-old male from Morrisville for Driving Under the Influence.
June 23
IDENTITY THEFT — Unit block of Knoll Drive, reported at 10:34 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a bank account in the United Kingdom using their name. It was later discovered this was an error and belonged to someone else with the same name.
RETAIL THEFT — 900 block of Vansant Drive at Wegmans reported at 5:22 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a known woman committed two retail thefts on 6/17 & 6/22, removing a total of $2,123.32 worth of merchandise. A warrant was issued for the 49-year-old woman from Trenton, N.J. On June 25, police officers responded to a traffic stop on Oxford Valley Road near Lincoln Hwy. where Middletown Township had the suspect detained. The male driver was identified and found to be in possession of a large quantity of US currency. A search of the vehicle revealed a black garbage bag containing multiple boxes of crab legs. The wanted female, known to commit retail thefts of seafood, was taken into custody. She was transported to LMT PD HQ for processing. She was subsequently sent to BCCF in lieu of $5,000/10% bail.
June 22
THEFT — 2100 block of Dawn Lane, reported at 10:25 p.m. The complainant reported several unauthorized transactions associated with an online gaming platform. Investigation ongoing.
DRUG ARREST — 1000 block of Stony Hill Road at Hampton Inn, reported at 12:21 p.m. The manager reported suspected drug paraphernalia located by housekeeping inside a guest’s room. Police made contact with the guest, a 30-year-old man from Cedar Knolls, N.J., who admitted to smoking crack in the room and admitted ownership of the paraphernalia. He was taken into police custody.
June 21
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Route 332 and Stony Hill Road, reported at 9:48 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. The 30-year-old man from Morrisville was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
IDENTITY THEFT — Unit block of Scammel Drive, reported at 5:36 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) opened two credit cards in their name and diverted their mail. Investigation ongoing.
DRUG ARREST — Yardley Road and Black Rock Road, reported at 11:34 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A further investigation revealed drug paraphernalia in plain view. The 41-year-old Lower Makefield woman was taken into police custody for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Disorderly Conduct & Obstruction.
June 19
FRAUD — 300 block of Ramsey Road, reported at 12:40 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) accessed their bank account and made two separate withdraws for $4,000 each.
