LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
These are the criminal incidents:
Aug. 6
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Woodside Road and Taylorsville Road, reported at 10:03 a.m. Police conducted a traffic stop during a speed detail at the location. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. The 28-year-old male driver from New Providence for Disorderly Conduct.
RETAIL THEFT — 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite, reported at 12:23 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft by the same person on seven different dates between June 24 and August 5. Further investigation revealed the identity of the 44-year-old Morrisville woman. A summons for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property was filed.
Aug. 4
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — 1000 block of Stony Hill Road at the Hampton Inn, reported at 5:24 p.m. Police responded to the report of a disturbance at the location. Further investigation led to a 51-year-old man from Lewisburg, OH, being cited for public drunkenness.
Aug. 2
FRAUD — 1300 block of Chase Road, reported at 9:08 a.m. The complainant reported contracting a company to seal their driveway for $350. Two men arrived earlier than the appointment time claiming to be from this company and sealed the driveway. They then stated the price was $1,700. The victim paid by check. After checking with the original company, they advised the victim that these men were not from their company. Investigation ongoing.
RETAIL THEFT — 500 block of West Trenton Avenue at CVS, reported at 11:38 a.m. An employee reported a retail theft in progress where someone took a basket full of items and fled on a bicycle. Police located the 46-year-old Levittown man riding on West Trenton Avenue and stopped him. A records check revealed he was also wanted out of Middletown Township for Retail Theft. He was taken into police custody. He was charged with Retail Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
DRUG ARREST — Heacock Road and Heritage Oak Drive, reported at 5:13 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 42-year-old female driver from Lower Makefield Township for possession of Methamphetamine and Suboxone, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken into police custody.
Aug. 1
DRUG ARREST — Oxford Valley Road and Big Oak Road, reported at 2:58 p.m. Police on patrol received an LPR hit for a vehicle with a suspended registration due to no insurance. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 39-year-old woman from Philadelphia possession of Methamphetamine, possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and possession of an Offensive Weapon.
July 31
CRIMINAL TRESPASS — 1700 block of North Dove Road, reported at 8:11 a.m. Police responded to the report of an unwanted person at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 42-year-old Levittown man for Criminal Trespass and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken into police custody.
FRAUD — 800 block of Dukes Drive, reported at 8:05 a.m. The complainant reported receiving multiple notifications of credit checks using their personal information that they did not request. No monetary loss at this time.
