Bucks Co. Worker Hit, Killed By Steam Roller: Police
Police say the 37-year-old man was working on another piece of machinery when he was hit by the steam roller, operated by another employee.
BENSALEM, PA — A worker at a heavy-equipment rental company in Bucks County was killed Tuesday when he was struck by another worker operating a steam roller, according to police.
At 10:07 a.m., Bensalem Police were called to Foley Inc., at 2975 Galloway Rd., to a report of an industrial accident inside a garage bay.
There, they learned that a 37-year-old man was working on an asphalt milling machine when he was hit by the steam roller, which was being operated by another employee.

He was taken by EMS to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where police say he died from his injuries. Police on Tuesday afternoon had not released the name of the victim.
Bensalem Police said the man's body will be taken to the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's office and that the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) had been notified and was investigating.

According to police, there does not appear to have been any criminal activity related to the incident.
