Join historian Charlie Thomforde for a one-hour tour along East and West Afton Avenues, Canal Street, and Main Street. You will encounter the town's evolution from a single grist mill to a thriving, diverse community. Yardley's three bodies of water, its bridges, its canal boats, railroad, and trolleys; its people; and life in small town America will all be part of the story.
Reservations are needed for the tour. Please e-mail info@yardleyhistory.org. A $10 donation per person is requested and will be used to preserve the Old Library collections.
