Counseling Offered After Pennsbury Senior Dies Over Weekend

Counseling services will be offered Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. after the death of 12th grader Kyle Valdez.

Pennsbury High School is offering counseling this week following the sudden death of a senior student.

In a message to the Pennsbury High School community about the tragedy, officials said 12th grader Kyle Valdez passed away over the weekend. The cause of his death was not immediately known.

"As our community grieves this loss, we are opening our doors to provide counseling services at Pennsbury High School East Campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 16.

Students were scheduled to be off from school Monday, but counselors will be there to help the students during this time. Counseling services will continue Tuesday as well, school officials said in the message.
