Fire Crews Contain Morrisville Building Fire

The Morrisville Fire Company said a building on East Trenton Avenue had a small fire that was extinguished quickly Saturday night.

MORRISVILLE, PA —A fire at a building on East Trenton Avenue was contained within an hour Saturday night, fire officials said.

The Morrisville Fire Company volunteers, along with mutual aid companies, were dispatched to the 100 block of East Trenton Avenue for a reported building fire at 7:07 p.m. Saturday.

Chief 98 arrived and found smoke coming from the front gable wall. Crews quickly located and extinguished a small fire behind the front wall, fire officials said. Crews were back in service nearly two hours later.

Fire officials did not report any injuries.

Early Monday morning, Station 98 was dispatched along with Falls Township Fire Company #1 to a vehicle extrication in the area of Hillcrest and North Pennsylvania avenues.

Crews arrived and found a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side with two motorists. Both were quickly freed.
