A resident from the apartment complex told police that after he heard a shot, he found wood chips on the floor outside of one of the apartment doors. He then observed a gunshot exit hole through the door of the apartment and an entrance hole across the hallway into the wall of another apartment, which was unoccupied at the time.

Police activated the Bucks County South SWAT team, which made contact with Booker, the sole occupant of the apartment where the shot was fired, at 8:49 p.m. Police said he refused to leave the apartment until 11:35 p.m. when he surrendered to police.
