Lane Closure In 2 Lower Bucks Towns To Last Into May
PennDOT begins a lane closure Monday for a project in Lower Makefield and Falls townships. Find out where and how long below.

YARDLEY, PA —A lane closure is planned for more than a month as resurfacing operations begin on Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road on Monday.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that resurfacing operations are planned on Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road in Lower Makefield and Falls townships under a $9.4 million contract to repair and resurface seven state roadways in Bucks County.

- Monday, March 18, through Friday, May 3, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road between the U.S. 1 (Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway) and Delavue Road for milling and paving.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.

Under this pavement improvement project, PennDOT will mill and resurface 25 miles of state highways in Bucks County using bituminous material. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. of Perkasie, Bucks County, is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
