Memorial Day 2019 Parade, Run Set In Yardley

YARDLEY, PA — A parade and the first-ever Main Street Mile are scheduled for Memorial Day in Yardley.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at the Yardley Memorial Monument, across from the Yardley Inn at Afton and Delaware avenues.

The Memorial Main Street Mile will begin at 8 a.m. The race, which as its name suggests is a chipped, one-mile run on Main Street in Yardley, will benefit American Legion Post 317.

It starts at Wells Fargo Bank (225 South Main St.) and finishes at 65 North Main St.

After the race, Yardley's annual Memorial Day parade will step off on Main Street at 11 a.m.
