New Nanny Stole From Lower Makefield Twp. Family: Police
A Levittown woman was charged with theft for taking money from the family, Lower Makefield Township Police reported in its blotter.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A new nanny isn't employed by a township family any longer, not after stealing money from them, police said.
The incident was one of several reported this week by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department in its blotter of crimes for the past week.

Nov. 8
DRUG ARREST / WANTED PERSON —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s, reported at 6:06 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a pedestrian for investigation. A records check revealed the 37-year-old Bristol woman had a probation warrant out of Bucks County. While taking her into custody, police found drug paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and turned over to the Bucks County Sheriffs.

Nov. 7
THEFT ARREST —1100 block of Edgewood Road, reported at 2:52 a.m. Police were notified by the Middletown Township Police Department that they had a woman in custody who was wanted by Lower Makefield Township Police for the theft of money from a residence on the 100 block of Pine Cone Drive on Oct. 31. The woman was a new nanny to the family and stole $600 in cash over a few weeks. The 35-year-old Levittown woman was taken into police custody, arraigned by District Justice Marriott, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —200 block of Wild Orchid Court, reported at 5:13 p.m. The complainant reported that sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) keyed several messages into the hood of their vehicle.
Nov. 3
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —200 block of Wildflower Circle, reported at 11:59 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) cut their string lights.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT —500 block of South Dove Road, reported at 1:51 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a Volvo XC90 after it was not returned by an unauthorized driver.
